The BETER product company is looking for an IT Project Manager to develop and implement a technical strategy for the development of a system for sports analytics. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing various IT projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Important for the position:

  • 5 years of proven experience in project management, with a successful track record of leading complex projects from initiation to completion;
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the ability to tailor approaches to suit project requirements;
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and cultivate strong working relationships;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams);
  • English C1/C2;
  • Demonstrated ability to set and enforce strict project timelines and deadlines;
  • Strong assertiveness in pushing teams to meet milestones and deliverables on time;
  • Ability to establish clear expectations regarding timelines and hold team members accountable for meeting them.

It will be a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
  • A constant search for answers to the questions “why” and “how to do it better”, but at the same time critical thinking to understand when it is rational to do it “better”.

What do you have to do?

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables;
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to effectively manage resources and track project progress;
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, qa specialists, business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability;
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to minimize disruption and maximize project success;
  • Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders on key metrics, milestones, and outcomes;
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, leveraging insights to enhance future project delivery.
